Tamar Shushiashvili has 20 years of experience of working in public service and private business as
well as in the field of education.

At different times she worked at the Ministry of Justice of Georgia,
as the Secretary of Judicial Session at the Supreme Court of Georgia, the Assistant Judge, then as the Judge of the Panel at Administrative Cases Panel of Tbilisi City Court. Currently she is the Head of the Department of the Court Disputes at JSC “VTB Bank Georgia”.

At the same time, she is the Member of the Bar Association, the Associate Member of the Association of Law Firms of Georgia (ALFG) and the Member of Business Rehabilitation and Insolvency Practitioners Association
(BRIPA).

Tamar Shushiashvili is a PhD student in administrative law on the thesis: “Interaction of the Principle of the Inquisition and the Burden of Evidence in the Examination of the Lawfulness of an Administrative-legal Act”.

She is an author of the Guidebook – handbook (reviewing comments on
the Law on Police) for the employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. She is also an author of several articles and participant of international conferences / trainings.

Tamar Shushiashvili has 10 years of pedagogical experience. Her pedagogical practice includes the following fields / directions:

– 2005-2006 Teacher at MIA Police Academy;
– Administrative Law, Administrative Procedure Law, Bachelor’s and Master’s program of the
Faculty of Law Faculty of Technical University of Georgia, 2009-2012;
– School of Governance, Caucasus University from 2014 till present.
